The Dixon WaterFoundation recently won the state’s top land conservation award. The Aldo Leopold Conservation Award recognizes outstanding landowners who serve as a positive example to other ranchers and landowners demonstrating how good land management practices can be both profitable and ecologically sustainable.

The DixonWaterFoundation Leo Unit is serving as an outdoor classroom for the students this week. They are spending the next few days learning about sustainable land management, watershed health, wildlife, and native plants.

Kids On the Land is so grateful to be working with the Dixon Water Foundation and their team. Their support of this program means the world.
