E-STEM Education with Kids On the Land
Environmental and STEM Education (E-STEM) programs like Kids On the Land are giving students the tools they need to lead us to a more sustainable Environmental future and to take better care of our Natural Resources.
Kids On the Land engages the students in hands-on activities that help students develop a wide range of STEM skills.
Students use Math concepts to determine biodiversity and Engineering skills to understand how wind and water create mechanical energy.
Understanding geological formations by finding and studying fossils is key to learning about the place where the students live… past, present and future!
Executive Director Peggy Maddox customizes each location’s program based on their specific eco- region, teaching the students to become environmentally literate.
